Ilias Tsailaris is an Occupational Therapist who completed his studies at the Athens University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Occupational Therapy and is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the Hellenic Open University. He is an active member of the Hellenic Association of Occupational Therapists.
He has extensive experience working with children with developmental disorders in both private and public settings, including Special Schools. He specializes in Sensory Integration therapeutic interventions and holds the title of Marte Meo Practitioner, having completed the first level of psycho-education in the Marte Meo method.
In addition, he has been trained in several prominent therapeutic approaches, including Intensive Interaction, Sherborne Developmental Movement, Social Stories, Feeding Therapy, Dysgraphia, and more, and has participated in numerous conferences and seminars. Among other engagements, he presented a Field Review on “The Importance of Self-Regulatory Behaviors for Individuals with Autism” at the European Occupational Science Conference (2023) in Denmark.
